San'chez in Confident Mood
In what has been a troubled build up to this year's P.E.P for San'chez, there could be light at the end of the tunnel.
As part of their preparations they have played in several matches against FC Fisico but up until recently had struggled for any conistency. However, with the majority of victories in the series played between the two teams this weekend, could they be turning a corner?

The signing of Freddie Ljungberg and the reintegration of club stalwart Luis Figo seems to have lifted the club. The signings of Freddie and Figo (deemed over the hill not so long ago) occured after a petiiton was signed by 20,000 fans demanding that San'chez not forget about their traditions in giving 'older' players a chance.

Tygra Synclair seemed to agree "Finding the balance between experience and impressionable youth is a difficult one and it is fair to say in our haste to produce a dynamic side for this year's P.E.P, we got that balance wrong. Freddie has been a different class since he signed from Evangleion and in the last few games has caused the opposition a lot of problems".

Freddie Ljungberg just wants the chance to shine again "I will always hold Evangelion lose to my heart but i am grateful Ryan Kage accepted my wish to move elsewhere for first team football. Lifting the trophy in P.E.P II was the culmination of all my hard work and i would love to experience that again with San'chez".
