FC Fisico has been honoured to be involved in its 2nd PEP and was proud to be a part of the most exciting tournament so far. Whilst we are bitterly disappointed with the overall performance of the team we can only promise to be much better prepared for the next instalment off the greatest show on earth that will be PEP 5.
The team and their manager Revilo Llessur would like to take this opportunity to apologise to all our fans for the team's disappointing performances. A full scale ‘root and branch’ investigation of our short comings will take place with immediate effect. The process will be difficult and some of the truths' difficult to take but it is important to focus on some positives. Beating our rivals' Sanchez in the second game against them was hugely satisfying, holding onto a well deserved point against Evangelion gave the team a much needed confidence boost, whilst the away performance against Carpe Diem deserved much more then the loss that the result sheet will hold for ever more. Individually, there were some great glimpses of what the future may hold from, Micah Richards, Dani Agger, Ryan Babel and Fernando Torres whilst seeing the youthful exuberance of Bojan Krkić was a joy to be hold in the final game.
Today’s press speculation linking us to Casillas, Vidic, Xavi, Riquelme and Drogba is all mere paper talk. Players of this 'world class' calibre would be welcome with open arms in any club and FC Fisico is no different. FC Fisico will announce shortly player contract renewals and terminations.
Congratulations are warmly sent to Athletico the winners of the PEP and to the organisation skills of the P.E.P Committee.
