As many countries try to conclude their qualifying campaigns for the European Championships, Carpe Diem have been left to rue the ignorance of Fifa in organising the matches so close to the P.E.P. The P.E.P Management team have kept thier issues with the scheduling private but we can always rely on Carpe Diem Manager, George to voice his opinion.
"I'm not often a man without anything to say but when i look at the ineptitude of FIFA organising their matches so close the the P.E.P, i really am lost for words. After all, who is it that pays these player's wages, who is going to be left short changed when the players return for the greatest tournament in the world, only to struggl with fatigue and injury?!"
"My month long training camp has been cut down to one week because i'm not going to see my players until Sunday. It's alright for teams like Athletico who paid FIFA for the early release of their players, but we simply don't have the finance to compete with them just yet."
"I have so called FIFA qualified physios telling me injuries that will take two weeks to heal will take two months. Where will the madness end?! Thankfully the Pro Evo Project have been very supportive and it wouldn't matter if i had one year to prepare or just one day; Carpe Diem wouldn't miss this for the world!"
